Third page, same rules. Try navigating back and forward with the browser buttons too: history, URLs, and reloads all behave normally, because these are ordinary documents.
A reload never animates, by design: cross-document view transitions only run on same-origin navigations, not on reloads or address-bar loads.
The swap looks continuous, but under throttling the animation still waits for the slow destination.
Evidence lives in DevTools too. Open the Application panel, find Speculative loads under Background services, and the Speculations tab lists every URL this page tried to prepare, with its status.
